Management of safety We adopted KGS 18001/OHSAS 18001 system since 2004 to establish more developed and organized safety administration system after being authorized KOSHA 18001 system from Korea Occupational Safety & Health agency in 2001. We also systemized to settle voluntary safety management system that safety management work will be closely involved in production activity which will make managers to pay more attention. Activity of managing safety • Operate integrated protection of disaster We are taking preventive measures against calamities integrating several system of the surveillance of important plant site and early warning and detection of peril, emergency alarm and weather observation. And we are operating system of integrated prevention of disaster(2 places) to cope with quickly and precisely in emergency situation. • Activity of Finding harmful risk factors and Improvement We are taking safety management activities reflecting to improvement activities operating a theme bank to detect potential risk factors, estimating risky factors, activating sharing information system on safety and health and performing regular internal and precise external inspection on process by expert. Activity and event for inspiring safety consciousness We publish monthly magazine on environment & safety for sharing various information for related issues and inspiring safety mind . And we designate “ day of safety inspection” and operating regularily a competitive exhibition of occupational safety & Health as well as a joint committee of labor and management on environment, occupational safety & health.
